LANDLORD AFFIDAVIT(Not Mandatory)- Before the Affidavit is Validated we must have a deposit tendered by the lessee of $400.00 and copy of the lease stating that the tenent is responsible for the water and sewer charges, which shall be placed in an account bearing no interest for the benefit of the lessee, to satisfy any FINAL delinquent water charges and/or bills.    At the terminiation of the tenancy, any and all remaining funds will be refunded to the lessee, whithin 30 days, at an address to be provided by the lessee, at the time the tenancy is terminated.  If no address is provided, the funds will be mailed to the subject tenancy dwelling unit.

WATER TURN OFFS-When your water bill is 30 days past due your water may be turned off for non payment.  If your water is turned off, you have to pay the bill in full plus a $50.00 turn on/off charge.(CASH ONLY)

WATER HOOK-UP COST-$3930.00   TO CONNECT TO WATER YOU NEED AT LEAST $2430.00 DOWN and you may pay the balance over a 10 year period at a 6% interest rate. You will be billed for this balance with a yearly installment, which is mailed to you in December, and due in February each year until paid.

SEWER HOOK-UP COST-$3050.00 If sewer is available it is MANDATORY by the state to connect within 6 months.  TO CONNECT TO SEWER YOU NEED AT LEAST $1250.00 DOWN and you may pay the balance over a 10 year period, at a 6% interest rate.  You will be billed for this balance with a yearly installment, which is mailed to you in December, and due in February each year until paid.

Water and Sewer Hook-Up for New Builds must be paid in full at the time of connections.

The above costs does not include trenching from the house to the road. 

To hook up to Water or Sewer, you must take a permit out at the Genesee County Drain Office, located at G-4610 Beecher Rd.( the corner of Beecher and Linden Rd.) (810)732-7870.
